Our History
Werner Friedrich William Lau (*1929 - † 2001) put already early the foundation-stone for the today's enterprise. His name is closely connected with the history of the heavy transport in the former GDR.

As a young man he drove once with a “Kälble” the roads of Mecklenburg, rather he then over 30 years worked as motorist and later realised as traffic master at the VEB “Ostseetrans” Rostock spectacular heavy transports and wrote and contributed a piece of history of the heavy cargo in East Germany.

The name Lau is thus closely connected with the heavy transport.

Starting from 1990 he developed with his wife Mrs. Ingrid Lau the northeast German location of a heavy load business in Rostock, from which they separated in 1995.

In the same year the establishment of the enterprise Lau Rostock took place in its current form. It was and is developed and expanded continuously.
